Read Between the Wines 2023

On Thursday, October 5, 2023, the Friends of the Library hosted their popular Read Between the Wines Event from 6 - 10 PM at the Grafton-Midview Public Library. The Friends had an amazing evening planned with wine, live entertainment, food, raffles, door prizes, a diamond raffle, and more. There were over 90 baskets and 11 showcase raffles.

Here we see most of the 91 raffle baskets set up in the Community Room.

Black and white decorations adorned the library in various places. Here we see sunflowers with books.

Les Miller played saxophone during Read Between the Wines, and a Diamond Raffle was also sponsored by Village Jewelry. This poster in the picture shows all the details.

Vendors brought door prizes that were raffled off at the event. Here we see a photo of all those gifts which were located by the Endowment Tree.

Each attendee received a goodie bag when entering. Included inside the bag was an event program, a wine glass with a Library charm, a tasting ticket, and information regarding upcoming friends events.

One of the raffle basket prizes was a large garden wagon with tools and mums inside. One lucky winner took this home that evening.

Here's a close up of some of the beautiful raffle baskets. Many included gift cards to local restaurants, wine bottles, and more.
