She visits many places, but hanging at the Library is her favorite activity. Nalu is registered through Pet Partners with her caregiver Heather. Every first Tuesday of the month, Nalu will find a nice resting spot in the teen department between 4 and 5 PM. Schedule your 15-minute session with her today! Do you want to get a jumpstart on studying for these tests? If you answered yes, then this program is for you. Participants will learn about the resources available at the Grafton-Midview Public Library to prepare and study for these tests. YA Book Bundles Monday, 10/4, 11/15, 12/13, 9:30 AM Need something to read for the long weekend or upcoming holiday? Sign up for a YA Book Bundle. Book Bundles will include several Library books geared around a loose theme and other goodies. Books are checked out to your GMPL card. YA books are recommended for ages 12+. Content will not be screened during selection. Wreck This Journal Club Wednesday, 10/6, 12/1, 3 PM Our Wreck This Journal Club will continue this fall. If you didn't get to join us this summer contact the teen librarian to see if there is still availabilty. Do you like to write, journal, draw, create or destroy? Then this club is definitely for you. We will work our way through Wreck this Journal by Keri Smith. Participants will receive a free copy of the journal. Create Your Own Zine Tuesday, October 12, 3 PM Have you ever created a Zine? Are you curious what a Zine is? Did you see the movie Moxie or read the book and want to start your own Zine? Join the teen librarian to find out a little more about Zines and how to make one. Mini Dalas Tuesday, October 26, 3 PM Create beautiful mandalas on mini vinyl records. Movie Night Thursday, 10/28, 12/2, 6 PM Come hang out and watch a movie and eat some popcorn. ACT Crash Course Friday, November 12, 4:30 PM Grafton-Midview Public Library is pleased to partner with Dr. Srinath Sampath of PrepAccelerator to offer a free, online ACT Crash Course for Midview High School students as well as students from neighboring school districts. Registration is required through PrepAccelerator beginning Wednesday, October 20 at 8:00 am at https://tickettailor.com/events/prepaccelera- tor/548812 Parents are invited to join in. Bring a calculator, pens/pencils, and a notebook. Field Day Funnanigans - SEPTEMBER Elementary grades and up Test your sleuthing skills in these digital escape rooms. Age levels are recommended for each game room, however anyone is welcome to give it a try. Visit the teen web page to participate.
