The Teen Zone will be giving away free comics to Teens ages 12-18 or in grades 7-12 on the Monday after Free Comic Book Day. All Comics are rated Teen. 

Library closed from 9:30am - 1:00pm for staff development training.  Library reopens at 1:00pm for normal Friday operating hours.

Our Wreck this Journal club will continue this fall. If you didn't get to join us this summer contact the teen librarian to see if there is still availability. Do you like to write, journal, draw, create or destroy? Then this club is definitely for you.  We will be working our way through Wreck this Journal by Keri Smith. Participants will receive a free copy of the journal.

Join us for this special all ages book discussion .  To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, we will explore a variety of stories at varied levels for every reader.  This program is ideal for families, but anyone is welcome to read and attend.  Participants are welcome to create projects based on the readings and share them at the event.

Come hang out in the Children's Department for games, art projects, coding, music, or whatever else we want to explore.  Each week we will try out something new.  Oh, and did we mention there will be snacks, too?  Time to "wrap" up the year with some gift-wrapping.  We will craft our own holiday gift tags.
