Create a story that your family can't wait to hear.   The Buckeye Bigfoot Saturday, February 8, 2 PM Join Marc Dewerth of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization to hear stories about the elusive creature known as Bigfoot. Marc has spent over 25 years studying evidence and investigating sightings here in Ohio.  Travel the GMPL Express to the Maltz Museum Sunday, February 9, 12:15 PM Take this guided tour of the traveling Leonard Bernstein exhibit followed by a self-guided tour of the Maltz Museum. The bus leaves the Grafton-Midview Public Library at 12:15 PM and will return between 4 and 5 PM. This program is funded by our Friends and the GMPL Endowment Fund. Raymond Towler and the Lydian Jazz Band: There's Always Hope Saturday, April 25, 6 PM Midview Middle School Raymond Towler spent 29 years behind bars for a crime he did not commit. He was exonerated in 2010 with the help of the Innocence Project. He spent some of his prison years at Grafton Correctional Institution and is Ohio's longest serving inmate to be declared innocent. He will share his story, You Have to Have Hope and how he survived his years in prison through his artwork and music. Grafton Township History Program Monday, April 27, 6:30 PM Grafton Township was first settled in late 1816 by a number of settler families and continued to grow quickly in the ensuing decades. Learn a little about the long history of Grafton Township. New Books in Adult Services Department If you haven't been inside the Library since our flip last summer, you may not be aware of the new book wall downstairs. This wall contains all of GMPL's newest fiction and non-fiction reads, many hot off the New York Times bestseller list. Here a patron browses a book before checking out.
